Welcome to Whitmore Lake Tavern, located off US 23 halfway between Ann Arbor and Brighton at exit #53.  Purchased in 1992 by the owners of Zukey Lake Tavern in Pinckney, the former Kales “Pier 23’ has a beautiful view overlooking Whitmore lake.

John Ciaramitaro, the curent owner, has continued to operate the Tavern since 2002. The original motto of “Great Food at a Reasonable Price” still embodies our efforts to establish a comfortable family atmosphere which has remained the same throughout the years.

Original favorites such as our Deep Pan Pizza, BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Choice steaks, Sirloin Burgers, grilled sandwiches & distinctive House Salads are still offered to our Tavern guests. The famous “Wet Burrito” has been a favorite at both Taverns since 1980.

Enjoy dining on our Summer patio with a breathtaking view of Whitmore Lake. Come in and watch the game on one of our many flat screen TVs, purchase a “pull tab”, or try your luck at Keno.
